Can anyone point me to a guide on how to work out what optics I have, mirrors and lens, and that are the best options to buy from the store to replace them?

Sorry for the late reply. Mirrors is fairly easy, simply remove your mirror and measure it, laser cutter mirrors are usually either 20mm, 25mm or 30mm, most usually 20mm on smaller machines. I recommend Molybdenum for all use cases really.
Your lens is a little more tricky. Measure its OD (usually anything from 12mm to 20mm) then using cocktail stick or similar thin dowel cut it to 2inch or 2.5inch (the most common focal lengths) set your laser head at focal height in the usual way and use your dowel to work out if the lens bottom is 2 or 2.5inch above the work.
