I just installed a brand new C02 tube into my Laguna EX 150w. The issue I am having is that the beam directly out of the tube is a dot with a ring around it. lens looks clean with no cracks in it. What is causing this issue? Bad tube?
First picture is the test at the first mirror, the second is the end of the tube, third is the test with the tape directly on the end of the tube where the laser beam exits.
The beam from a tube is ring shaped, what you are showing me in the pictures is pronounced, but as far as I can tell unusual.
If there are issues or you have concerns you should raise them with the tube supplier. If the results beyond the lens are as expected, I wouldn’t worry about it.
