my boss 1630 is not firing, the interlock switch was bad, replaced and it did not fix it. any ideas?

Yes.
Take a look at this video on interlocks, it has some hopefully helpful diagnostics.
In addition to the lid switch (and depending on your setup) you might have additional interlocks. However a laser not firing can also be related to either a broken high voltage power supply or failed tube. Does your Boss1630 have an amp meter? Or is there an amperage LCD screen on your High Voltage PSU? Upload some photos of your machine wide shots of the front, and photos with the side cabinets/doors open if you’re not sure what to look for.
