Beam shape visualisation with foam

This is a quick hack to visualise the real shape of the beam, using LD33 Plastazone foam, which just goes away when it sees a sniff of a beam.

The first test was with the cone still fitted. I was expecting a much more conical cut. This would actually be a usable kerf width for some projects!

The second test was without the cone, so the foam could be much closer to the lens. Much more of the beam taper is visible:
